UNFORTUNATELY, THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.Oh, we love the halls of Ivy that surround us here today. And, we will not forget though we be far, far away.
From the creator of the Fibber McGee & Molly radio program, The Halls of Ivy presents real-life husband and wife Ronald Colman and Benita Hume as the first couple of Ivy College: William Toddhunter ("Toddy") Hall and his wife, Victoria ("Vicky") Cromwell Hall, a former actress of the British comedy stage.
Although President Hall is an erudite and polished professor, he is completely unpretentious and truly concerned for the well-being of the students and faculty. Vicky - who is always at his side, and on his side - keeps her husband in check with her playful and down to earth ways.
When called upon to stand behind beleaguered students, practice politics with integrity, address the ever-pressing need to fill the school's coffers, or even sort out affairs of the heart, the couple faces the challenge with a warmth, wit, and wisdom unmatched on any other sitcom of the day.
